| Robert
Donald is a London based
Graphic Designer who has
been working for the past
five years for Athena Press,
a small book publishing
firm in Twickenham. His
work includes book cover
design, illustration for
fantasy and children's books,
map design, website administration
and IT support. With the
growth of the company during
that time period he has
moved into a more senior
role, hiring staff, managing
the design department workflow
and determining what briefs
are to be handed to out-of-house
personnel. Despite these
extra responsibilities,
he still manages to be an
active designer and particularly
enjoys working on fiction
titles.
Rob
graduated with a BA Hons
in Graphic Design in the
class of 2002 at Coventry
University. His interests
include film, TV and videogames,
which are all areas in which
he would like to work. He
is particularly drawn to
the design of movie posters.
The
work assembled in this Online
Portfolio covers a number
of years, and includes his
degree work, interim freelance
work completed post-graduation
and some of his work for
Athena Press. Rob has also
been called back to work
on some projects, including
design and layout work for
no less than three editions
of A Short History of
the Royal Marines,
published by the Royal Marines
Historical Society.
Due
to the large number of projects
Rob has worked on for Athena
